Product Updates
GDPR Checker for Firefox
The GDPR Checker is now available for Firefox as well as Chrome. Install it from Firefox Add-ons and audit what a page loads before consent from the browser you already use.
The GDPR Checker docs cover what the panel reports and where each browser differs.
MCP Server Has Its Own Address
The MCP server now runs on a dedicated host at mcp.statable.com. The old endpoint on the main domain no longer answers, so if you connected an AI assistant earlier, update its configuration.
The MCP setup guide has the current address and a working config for each client.
Widget Improvements
The map widget now scales down on narrow screens instead of cropping. On a phone the map kept its full desktop width inside a smaller container, so the right side of the world was cut off. It now shrinks with the block it sits in, and the numbers on top of it scale along.
The globe widget's shadow also fits the space reserved under the sphere, so its lower edge no longer ends against a hard line on larger globes.
API Key Permissions
API keys now carry permissions. When you create a key in Settings, choose whether it can only read your stats or also manage your sites and your other keys, so an integration never gets more access than it needs.
Reading is always included, every key in the list shows what it is allowed to do, and permissions are fixed once a key exists: to change them, create a new key and revoke the old one.
Globe Widget Improvements
The globe widget now keeps its shape on light pages: the rim of the sphere is shaded, so the globe no longer fades into a white background and reads as a full sphere on any host page.
Its drop shadow is also anchored to the widget itself instead of the page, so it stays in place when content above the globe loads late and shifts the layout.
GA4 Import: Full History
The Google Analytics import is no longer capped at 12 months. Bring your entire GA4 history into Statable and re-import safely at any time: imports are staged and only published when they complete. Follow the migration guide to get started.
GDPR Checker Extension
Our new browser extension audits any page for trackers that fire before consent. Open the side panel, load a page, and see exactly which third parties set cookies or send data pre-consent. Available in the Chrome Web Store.
Statable Debugger Extension
Verify your Statable install right in the browser. The Statable Debugger shows tracker detection, live events as they fire, and a direct link to your dashboard. Available for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, with setup notes in the Debugger docs.
Public Stats API
Query your analytics programmatically with the new read-only Stats API. Generate API keys in your dashboard and pull visitors, top pages, sources, goals, and funnels over a simple JSON API. The Stats API documentation covers authentication, every endpoint, and the rate limits.
An MCP server is included, so AI assistants like Claude can read your stats and answer questions about your traffic. See the MCP setup guide to connect one.
Choose Your First Day of the Week
Weeks in your reports can now start on any day you like. Pick Sunday, Monday, or any other weekday in General settings, and every chart and date range follows.
Block Traffic by Country
You can now exclude traffic from selected countries in your site settings. Blocked visits never reach your stats, and the blocklist shows when each country was added. Details in the Blocklist docs.
Dashboard Improvements
A batch of small quality-of-life updates across the dashboard:
- •The realtime countdown ring now runs continuously, and the last bar no longer flickers.
- •Charts mark the current in-progress bucket, so you know the latest numbers are still being calculated.
- •Source favicons appear when you filter by a specific source.
- •A cleaner, faster website switcher.
Faster Globe Widget
The real-time globe widget now renders with WebGL. CPU usage while the globe rotates dropped from around 50% to nearly zero, and the globe now scales to the full width of its container.
Funnels
Build multi-step funnels to see how visitors move through your site and where they drop off. Define steps from page views or events and track the conversion rate between every step. Read the Funnels guide to get started.
Saved Filters
Save your favorite filter combinations and apply them again in one click. Saved filters live right in the filter bar, so your go-to views are always one tap away. See Filters and Segments for details.
Lightweight Tracking Script
Introducing a smaller tracking script for faster page loads and minimal impact on website performance.
Google Search Console Integration
Connect Google Search Console to view search queries, impressions, clicks, and rankings alongside your analytics data.
Login with GitHub
Sign in to Statable with your GitHub account for faster onboarding and easier access.
